The PMTC is excited to announce our first annual Trail Race to be held on the Highlands Section of the Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail in August of 2013. Very cool medals for all finishers. This race will have B-tag timing, and professional race management by 'We Run Events'. This will be a challenging 13 mile race that will start off at the parking lot at the top of Pine Mountain on US 119 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. This section of the trail has some of the most beautiful forest that eastern Kentucky and southwest Virginia have to offer. If you think you have what it takes to master this mountain and you like adventure, then this is the race for you. All who enter will receive a nice Tech. T-Shirt and all those that have the determination to finish will receive a custom finisher medal. Awards will be given to the over-all male and female winners and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in their age groups.
