Volunteer Vacations

Longer trips that have been put together by the American Hiking Society (AHS) in conjunction with the Pine Mountain Trail Conference.  On an AHS Volunteer Vacation, you visit stunning backcountry locations to construct or rebuild footpaths, cabins and shelters.  In the process, you meet new people, explore canyons, peaks and valleys, enjoy quiet evenings around a fire and come home refreshed and rejuvenated.  Volunteer Vacations are more fun than work!

The Sierra Club will be returning to the Pine Mountain Trail in the fall of 2013. Roger Straw and crew will make their almost annual trek to aid in the completion of the Trail. More info at a later time.
